In todays world, threat intelligence and cyber threat intelligence are closely linked. They both compliment each other, as one.

Proactive Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) can be hard to come by. Using an intelligence-led approach CyberGenetics aims to help fill this void.

Here at CyberGenetics, we aim to share our knowledge, findings, and expertise with the Open Source community. Ensuring you stay up to date with the often overwhelming volume of threats, including methods, vulnerabilities, targets, and Threat Actors.

Threat Intelligence and Cyber Threat Intelligence

Gathering intelligence whether digital or non-digital plays an important part within an organisation. Threat intelligence is key to knowing the questions around who, what, why, and how? The world as we know it is becoming more digitalized, bringing new types of threats to an organisations security posture. The threat landscape is changing.

Open Source Threat Intelligence (OSINT)

Open-source intelligence (OSINT) Is produced from publicly available information. OSINT can be gathered from a variety of sources, from paid to free, public sources about an individual or organisation. OSINT plays a key role within CTI gathering intelligence about an attacker, groups both digital or non-digital, profiling, forensics, and/or to gather intelligence on the organisation.  OSINT can be used for defence or attack purposes.

Geopolitics

Politics has always played a part in the shaping of our world. Geopolitics is the assessment of current events, through data analysis, news, OSINT, and current affairs.

Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)

Geospatial Intelligence Is produced from the analysis of Geospatial data and imagery. This can be anything from physical features of a landscape (physical and non-physical), maps, satellite imagery, and human activity within a defined area.
